India Online Poker Championship Commentators Lineup

Back in November 2020, Spartan Poker hosted the Final Table Series by India Poker Championship. The 8 Crores guaranteed series was live streamed online. This means that there was obviously going to be a line-up of caster and commentators to take us through and analyse the games played. The FTS had the likes of esteemed poker personalities such as Sam Razavi, Kevin Macphee, Radhika Shankar, Ramesh Thothapalli and the one and only Maria Ho!

The Indian Online Poker Championship 28 Crores GTD is currently underway on Spartan Poker and this massive series is also set to be live streamed. This means that we’re gonna have a brand new line-up of casters ready to take us through the tables!

Let’s take a look at all the casters that we’re gonna have at the Indian Online Poker Championship:

Richard Haridasoham

One of the first poker superstars in the country, Richard Haridasoham from Mumbai, has been there and done that. Richard holds the 2012 India Poker Championship (IPC) Big Game Main Event title where he shipped the poker tournament, taking home the IPC title and INR 2,51,000 prize money. Back then the poker field didn’t have many players and the game was growing slowly as compared to present day.

Richard Haridasoham has seen the Indian Poker industry grow over the last decade and has been an integral part of helping people to understand the game better and spread it across the country. He was actively producing content as a part of the “Poker Rajas”, which was a very popular podcast and included guest appearances from some of the biggest names in the Indian poker industry. We can’t wait to see him at the IOPC talking us through the tables!

Sangeeth Mohan

Another person who has seen the Indian Poker industry grow since its inception back in 2011 is Sangeeth Mohan. The Spartan Poker Pro, better known in the industry as ‘SaMoh’, became a poker pro after leaving his job in the world-renowned company, Microsoft. His live poker achievements, to name a few, include winning his first PokerGuru Tour title in September 2011, the Asian Poker Tour (APT) Goa Main Event in November 2011, the APT Greed Event in the same series, a couple of India Poker Pros / Poker Series titles, an India Poker Legend title, an APT Manila title and of course, the India Poker Championship (IPC) High Roller title in February 2016.

The poker pro has amassed over $160k in live poker tournament earnings. Back in 2018, he also shipped the India Online Poker Championship  Main Event for a payout of INR 19.29 Lakhs! Sangeeth has been a Spartan Poker Pro since 2016 and knows the ins and outs of the poker industry like no one else. It’ll be great to have someone like him at the commentators desk at the IOPC 2021.

Celina Lin

All the way from Shanghai, Celina Lin is not only one of the most popular poker pros in the Asian poker scene but also one of the best! She started her poker journey back in 2004 and earned over $10,000 in just three weeks. She hasn’t looked back since. A regular in the biggest cards rooms in Asia, Celina made her biggest score at the Red Dragon Main Event at the Macau Poker Cup in 2012 for $110,077, adding to another event she won at the same festival in 2009. She was, in fact, the first ever female winner of the Macau Cup and sealed a place in the history books in Asian poker history. An icon for women in poker, Celina is the perfect addition to the commentators line-up at the India Online Poker Championship!

He has over $2 million in poker earnings even though he started off as a professional Hearthstone player for Team Liquid back in 2016. Engaged to Celina Lin, Randy also holds the Guiness World Record for the ‘Most hands of online poker played in 8 hours’ playing 14,548 hands and ending with a profit of $20.72. One of the most popular poker streamers in the world, Randy is a perfect example of a true grinder and his insights about online poker are truly wonderful.
