WAYLAND, Mich. — Gun Lake Casino announced Tuesday that it will reopening dine-in services at its bars and restaurants on Friday, Jan. 15, despite news that the state order’s banning may be extended another two weeks.
The Michigan Licensed Beverage Association said Tuesday it expects the governor to reopen restaurants for dine-in services by February 1.
Gun Lake Casino is on tribal land and not bound to the state order. The casino said all its dining and drinking amenities will reopen on Friday, starting at 11 a.m. for Sandhill Cafe and 1 p.m. for Harvest Buffet.
According to the casino’s Play It Safe initiative, minors are not currently allowed to dine at either Harvest Buffet or Sandhill Cafe.
Anyone interested in dining at either of Gun Lake Casino’s restaurants will have to make a reservation.
