Then, at 4:48 a.m. an alarm went off after someone broke into a casino at the 500 block of South Valley View Road. Clemens said several video lottery machines were broken into and cash stolen. Both businesses had surveillance video in which police identified suspects and the van used by them.
At approximately 10:15 p.m. near the 700 block of North Eagle Place an officer recognized the van and after pulling it over arrested Stark and Leonard. They found clothing in the van and on the pair that matched the descriptions given from the surveillance video. Clemens also said tools used to break in the businesses and cash were found in the van.
According to Clemens, police also found 5.8 grams of meth on Leonard.
Stark and Leonard were charged with burglary, grand theft, possession of stolen property, possession of burglary tools, controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, Clemens said.
